Coach Jackson, thanks for joining us. This show deals with some pretty heavy themes – secrets, betrayal, even murder. How do you see these themes playing out in the context of a high school surroundings?
Coach Jackson: Thanks for having me.You know, I’ve seen my fair share of drama on and off the court over the years.Teens are under immense pressure these days – academic, social, you name it. It’s not surprising that sometimes those pressures led to poor choices, concealed truths, and strained relationships.

What struck me about “One of Us Is Lying” is how quickly suspicion and mistrust spread. it felt like a powder keg waiting to explode. How do you, as a coach, build trust and foster open communication within a team, especially when dealing with competitive individuals?
Coach jackson: Trust is earned, not given. it takes time, consistency, and open dialogue. I make it a point to be approachable and create a safe space for my players to express themselves, voice concerns, and even vent frustrations. while I enforce strict rules and consequences,I try to understand the “why” behind their actions.

Coach Jackson: Social media is a double-edged sword. It can be a powerful tool for connection and awareness, but it can also be a breeding ground for gossip, misinformation, and cyberbullying. I constantly remind my players to think before they post, to be mindful of their online footprint, and to understand the potential consequences of their actions in the digital world.
The show doesn’t shy away from exploring the moral gray areas when it comes to truth and justice. Do you think it’s fair to say that these characters are grappling with the same dilemmas we frequently enough see in the real world?
