Pharrell Williams is curating the NBA 2K15 soundtrack
2K seems to be on the rise today. As news broke that “The Icon” Sting would appear in their wrestling series: WWE 2K15, the company also announced this music sensation; Pharrell Williams will curate the soundtrack for her upcoming basketball title; NBA 2K15. 2K hit some home runs today.
That’s right, the Grammy Award winner best known for his hit songs; ‘Happy’ and featured in Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ appears to be curating the soundtrack for the sports game sensation. We all know that sports game soundtracks are extremely important because you will be listening to these songs constantly for a whole year depending on how long you play the game itself. So having Pharrell at the helm of the creativity is a brilliant move for 2Ks.

With NBA 2K being one of the more enduring sports games out there and NBA 2K15 looking even better than before, the fact that Pharrell is on the team can only add to the already rising quality of this franchise as it looks set to become the king of basketball games one day be again. NBA 2K15 is slated for release on October 7th in North America and October 10th internationally for PlayStation3 and PlayStation4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
