My prediction: Gasquet beats Ymer (2.20)
This first round has a flavor of revenge for Richard Gasquet. The Frenchman had indeed lost ten days ago, in Montpellier, against Ymer in three sets. The Biterrois had run out of juice in the third set after playing two complicated matches in the previous rounds. This time, he had ten days of rest before this duel, which should weigh in the balance. The Swede is making a very good start to the season but he was stopped dead last week in Rotterdam by Musetti. I think Richard has all the weapons to win this time. He wants to do well here in France in a tournament that has never really succeeded for him. I would therefore give it a try by betting on his victory for a good odds of 2.20!
