Racers Start Falling at the Mandalika MotoGP Test

A number of racers fell while trying Mandalika Circuit in the 2022 MotoGP test event.

According to information Motorcyclingthere are three drivers who fell together at corner 10 of the Mandalika Circuit.

2021 MotoGP runner up Francesco Pecco Bagnaia was one of the riders who fell on the first day of the test session. Bagnaia did not experience any serious problems as a result of this incident.

“Small accident for Bagnaia. Driver is in good condition and checked [data] rhythm of speed,” wrote Ducati in their Twitter account.

VR46 Racing Team racer, Marco Bezzecchi was also the one who fell. Bezzecchi fell when bulldozing Turn 10. There was no significant problem for the Italian racer.

Another driver who also crashed was Fabio Di Giannantonio. This Gresini Racing racer also fell at that moment.

Previously, bend 10 of the Mandalika Circuit had been in the spotlight of former racer, Simon Crafar. According to Crafar, turn 10 is one of the two corners on the Mandalika Circuit which is the point hard braking for the racers.

The Mandalika MotoGP test is the last preparation for the racers before welcoming the new 2022 MotoGP season. In addition to the introduction of the Mandalika Circuit which is one of the hosts for the 2022 MotoGP series, this MotoGP test is also useful for finalizing the preparation of drivers and mechanical teams regarding motorcycle performance.

The 2022 MotoGP race will start at the Qatar MotoGP on March 5. The Mandalika MotoGP then became the second series to be held on March 20.
