The irundarras put an end to a cycle of five games without knowing defeat despite taking the lead with a goal from Llamas

Real Unión, the best visiting team between the two First Federation groups, fell from the promotion phase positions, losing in a comeback against the new leader of Group 1, Racing de Santander (4-1). The Gipuzkoan team ended a series of five days without defeat. Llamas’ initial goal was of little value, as Racing already turned the tables very clearly before the break, driven by two goals and an assist from the promising youngster Torre. Two balls to the woodwork and several saves by Irazusta prevented an even more lofty result at El Sardinero, where Racing has yet to see defeat.

The local staging led to pressure on Real Unión’s ball out. Soko headed in a drop shot by Cedric after Torre’s corner was saved by Irazusta in the 6th minute. Cedric hit the post a minute later. That yes, the Real Union marked first. Quique Rivero took a corner from the right, Erik finished off an imperial header and Llamas deflected the ball into the net in the 13th minute. The goal left the Cantabrian team untouched for a few minutes, excited about the victory to overthrow Deportivo at the head of the classification. There were several counterattacks from the visitors, but without completing the last pass. Real Unión did not take advantage of its moment and Racing began to pass the roller. In the 21st minute, Soko put in a measured cross from the right for a header from Torre that leveled the game.
