Australian Open champion Rafa Nadal has claimed his fourth title in Acapulco, continuing his hot streak with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Cameron Norrie.

The man from Manacor has won 15 consecutive matches since returning from a foot problem that kept him out of the competition for almost six months last year.

“It was a very humid day, the conditions were very difficult,” Nadal said in his post-match interview. Nadal, who won his first Acapulco title in 2005 and won it again in 2013 and 2020, is now level with compatriot David Ferrer and Austrian Thomas Mus
