The Mexican Tennis Open has an old acquaintance as champion.
The Spanish Rafael Nadal lifted the title in Acapulco after beating the British Cameron Norrie in two sets, becoming champion of the event for the fourth time in his career.
Nadal caught up with Austrian Thomas Muster and compatriot David Ferrer, who each won the Mexican Tennis Open four times.
The start of the first set was difficult for Nadal, who eventually found his way to win it 6-4.
For the second set, Nadal seemed to be heading for victory before Norrie reacted to get within a point before the Spaniard finished the game again at 6-4.
