After Lobo’s first victory in La Liga Federal, Sportivo driver Maximiliano Rios Sbardella analyzed the victory and his next rival.
Sportivo Las Parejas won their first game of the season by going down to Santa Paula de Gálvez, who was undefeated in the tournament. Consequently, Maximiliano Ríos Sbardella spoke with the club’s press to make his analysis of the victory and what is coming for Lobo in the Córdoba-Santa Fe Division.
It was possible to achieve the first victory in the tournament, how important is this triumph from the emotional point of view for the team?
The truth is that it is a very important victory to raise the spirits of the team and work much better during the week. We came from playing three very close games that had escaped us due to details.
They had a great first quarter against Santa Paula and as the minutes passed the rival came into play but Sportivo was able to close it well. What analysis do you make of the game against a rival who fought until the end?
I think defense was the key to the game. Leaving a team like Santa Paula that has a lot of goals below 75, that allowed us to run the field and the good effectiveness helped us.
On Wednesday another key duel is coming to start climbing the table. What game must the Wolf play to bring a victory to Río Tercero?
For Wednesday’s game we have to refocus on defense so that allows us to make better decisions up front and hopefully we can bring a victory on the road.
