Peacefully after a long courageous battle with illness, at Victoria Hospital, London on Saturday, February 26, 2022, Robert McKellar passed away 3 days short of his 59thbirthday. Loving husband to Betty (nee Macuda) for 28 years. Devoted father to Courtney and Carman. Dear son of Ian McKellar and the late Betty Ann Wolsey (2014) and son-in-law to Anna Macuda. Brother of Keith. Brother-in-law of Barb (Tom) Ritchie and John (Denean) Macuda. Uncle of T.J. (Lindsey) Ritchie, Cody (Tami) Richie, Livya Macuda, and Caety Macuda. Nephew of Ken and Joan Munro. Rob will be missed by many cousins and friends. Predeceased by his uncle and aunt Joe and Helen Weber and father-in-law John Macuda. Rob enjoyed playing baseball, hockey and coaching his children’s sport teams. Rob was a proud volunteer of the Alvinston Fire Department and worked at Alvinston Co-op for over 30 years. Rob’s family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Strathroy Middle General Hospital, Parkwood Institute, and Victoria Hospital for their care and support. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Donations can be made to Diabetes Canada, Brooke Alvinston Firefighter Association, or Kidney Foundation of Canada.
