Sammis Reyes (26) is having the time of his life. The first Chilean to play in the NFL, little by little, he has directed his career to the top, where today he is a key player in his Washington Commanders team. However, in an interview he revealed that he came to his fists so that they would not take him to the dressing room.
In a conversation with La Tercera, Sammis pointed out that “they have been excellent with me. I get along super well with everyone. I remember that, at the beginning when I came to the team, They tested me a couple of times, they tested me to see what I was made of. But I showed them that you don’t play with me either. His grappling with combos and we are ready”.
“The NFL is an aggressive sport, with a lot of adrenaline, testosterone, where you can’t let anyone run over you. You can’t let someone in the dressing room abuse you physically or mentally. Nor on the field. You have to be a tough person, let your teammates know that if they go to war, you will be by their side with them,” added the Chilean.
Continuing along the same lines, he was asked if the companions provoked that, where Reyes maintained that “At first one tried it when I got to the team and it didn’t go very well. That’s it, nobody ever bothered me again (laughs)”.
