Schick sealed Leverkusen’s 19th goal, and Bochum stepped on Bayern

National team striker Patrik Schick in the 22nd round of the German league sealed Leverkusen‘s home victory 4: 2 over Stuttgart with his 19th goal of the season. The leader of the competition Bayern Munich suffered a surprising 2: 4 defeat on the field of rookie Bochum.

Midfielder Vladimír Darida scored an assist for Hertha Berlin’s only goal, but did not prevent a 1: 3 loss at the last Fürth stadium. The midfielder of Augsburg, Jan Morávek, also started in the basic line-up, who played for 63 minutes. But his team also came out empty, losing 2: 3 in Mönchengladbach.

Schick could have scored in the first half, but in a big chance he only hit the bar. And so Leverkusen had to direct his teammates for the fourth win in a row. Gradually, Diaby, Adli and Wirtz hit, and Bayer led the almost second half.

Stuttgart managed to answer twice thanks to the 19-year-old Portuguese Tomas, who is a guest in Sporting Lisbon in Germany and only started the second match in the Bundesliga. However, Schick’s fine footwork caused nothing but headaches for Schick. Leverkusen thus consolidated his third place.

Bayern gave Bochumi a 7-0 debacle in the first match in September and started well this time as well. Already in the ninth minute, the best Bundesliga scorer Lewandowski pushed the ball into the net after a gap.

Five minutes later, however, he leveled Antwi-Adjei, and from the 37th to the 44th minute, the newcomer performed an unprecedented cannonade. First he completed a turnaround from the Locadia penalty and then they increased the score with two show hits from the middle distance Gamboa and Holtmann. Bayern scored four goals in the league in the first half after 47 years.

The crazy match up and down continued after the break, but Bayern only reduced it thanks to Lewandowski’s 26th league goal. Coach Nagelsmann’s charges were not ideal for Wednesday’s first round of the Champions League against Salzburg and suffered their fourth defeat of the season.

In the case of Sunday’s win over Dortmund over the Union Berlin, their lead can be reduced to six points. Bochum remained eleventh despite winning.

Fürth confirmed the improved performances of recent weeks and won the second home game in a row. Hrgota’s best shot came in from the right after 71 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. In the 82th minute, Darida found exactly Gechter’s head in the lime, but Hertha couldn’t do more and remains fourteenth.

Augsburg did not confirm that he had been successful against Mönchengladbach recently, and succumbed to Borussia after three matches. Bensebaini scored the winning goal in 67 minutes. The thirteenth Mönchengladbach bounced four points from the barrage rung where his opponent is on.
