Diego Schwartzmanwho was crowned champion last year, scored 150 points for reaching the final (although in the coming weeks he will lose the 250 from last year) which helped him displace Russian Aslan Karatsev from 14th place.
Another one who had a great performance was Federio Delboniswho added an important 90 points thanks to having reached the semifinal, in which he also lost against Ruud: these points allowed him to advance five places in the ranking to place himself in position number 37.
“Delbo” presented an enormous level throughout the tournament, where he defeated Juan Martín del Potro in his debut, Pablo Andújar in the round of 16 and Fabio Fognini in the quarterfinals, until Ruud cut his momentum.
One of the great novelties was the entry of Francisco Cerúndolo into the top 100, after managing to get into the top eight of the tournament.
