The Siena Baseball Club Board has defined the technical staffs of the 2022 season. Manager of the Serie C is the confirmed Cuban coach Jesus Barroso Gutierrez (pictured with Gaia Benvenuti), who will arrive in Italy on February 23rd. For Barroso it will be the sixth season in the province after the experience, from 2009 to 2013 with the Monteriggioni team and that of last year, with Estra Siena Bc. Leading the Under 12 team, entrusted to Antonio Rodriguez last season, who returned a few days ago for family reasons in the Dominican Republic), will be the technical instructor Francesco Giusti: before dedicating himself to Serie C, first as a manager, then last season , as coach of pitchers, in the past he led the U12 of the Monteriggioni team (2007-2011) and, again in Castellina Scalo, the AllieviU15s from 2012 to 2015, winning the title of regional champion in 2014; he was also coach of the federal youth camps of Rivabella. To support them the technicians in training Gaia Benvenuti, Irene Bonazzola and José Alberto Sanchez. The Juventus club will therefore enroll one team in the Serie C championship and one in the Under 12 regional championship (Beginners). Participation in C did not seem so obvious at the beginning, given that some of the key players of the 2021 season have decided to leave Siena: De La Rosa has returned from the loan from Lucca, Bonilla Castro and German de Jesus will be released, as well as the Dominicans Alberto Berroa de Jesus, Aquino Brazoban, Mercedes, Pena and Selmo. The Under 18s will be added to the first team, including the young pitcher Riccardo Rodriguez, last year on loan to Grosseto.
