EDUCatt also starts the collaboration with the Italian Sports Center (CSI) in the Piacenza headquarters to animate the newly renovated sports facilities, with activities and proposals available to the university community and the entire territory thanks to a complete offer that also includes the possibility of catering and accommodation.
To promote the structure and consolidate the agreement between the Foundation and the sports organization, in February CSI Piacenza organizes four days dedicated to non-competitive sport, to give the public the opportunity to try out the practice of some disciplines for free. in the places of the EDUCatt Sport InCampus project: Tuesday 22 February, from 7 pm, an Judo strength training”>Aerobics course will be held, Wednesday 23 February, from 7 pm a Judo test, Thursday 24 February, from 7 pm a military dynamic gymnastics training and closes on Saturday 26 February, from 2.30 pm an afternoon of self defense.
The courses are free and open to all (access is allowed only with a reinforced Green pass). The partnership – which is added to the one already underway in Rome and which over the years has produced excellent results – was made possible thanks to the sharing of values and vision between the two bodies: education, fun, friendship, sociality and inclusion are the keywords that make sport an opportunity for human and personal growth, an integral part of the training offer that EDUCatt has always interpreted in the support services of the Catholic University project.
The project of the institution for the right to study “EDUCatt Sport InCampus” was born with the desire to offer services dedicated to physical activity, with a wide choice of disciplines and proposals, from the rental of spaces to the possibility of being part of a team: in Piacenza the collaboration with the CSI has already seen the establishment of a men’s 5-a-side football team – now struggling with the competitive championship – and is preparing to expand the range of sports activities.
