A few days before spring break, the City of Boucherville announces that several cultural, artistic, sports and recreational activities will be offered free of charge from February 27 to March 6 for family fun.
Spring break is a wonderful opportunity to practice free outdoor sports activities, such as sliding, skating, cross-country skiing, disc golf or hiking. For citizens who do not have the appropriate equipment, the City lends some of them, free of charge!

The City is organizing, among other things, at the Gilles-Chabot ice center a free skating session in the presence of the Snow Queen and another under the disco theme. Young and old are welcome! For those who prefer to stay warm, free practice badminton is always possible at De Mortagne secondary school. The Laurie-Eve-Cormier Aquatic Complex offers several initiation workshops: yoga, paddle board, gymnastics, judo, and more. For young and old curious people who would like to know more about drones, a special activity is planned at the Francine-Gadbois Multifunctional Center.

Spring break is also synonymous with hybrid cultural programming! Various virtual or face-to-face workshops are offered at the Café center d’art and at the municipal library. Several themes are in the spotlight, including artistic and theatrical mediation, magic, historical and animal discoveries, culinary or scientific workshops, video game tournaments, and more!
In closing, there are still spaces available to register children aged 5 to 12 for the spring break day camp.
Residents can consult the complete Spring Break schedule at boucherville.ca/relache. Registration for activities will begin on February 24 at noon.
Sanitary measures and vaccination passport
The City of Boucherville monitors the health situation on a daily basis and adjusts according to public health announcements. Face-to-face activities will take place in compliance with health rules to ensure the safety of participants.
The vaccination passport remains required for people aged 13 and over who wish to participate in physical, sports and indoor leisure activities.
