Tottenham Hotspur trailed 0-2 at half-time to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League. Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendoncker successfully listed their names on the scoreboard.

Playing at home on Sunday (13/2/2022), Tottenham have conceded since the 6th minute. Starting from Rayan Ait Nouri’s free kick, the ball was successfully swept out of the Spurs penalty box.

Ruben Neves had a chance to fire from distance, but was saved by Hugo Lloris. The gag ball was picked up by Leander Dendoncker, but his shot that hit the ground was again blocked by Lloris.

The wild ball was again controlled by Raul Jimenez in the Tottenham penalty box. The third attempt was successful, after Jimenez’s shot nestled in the top right corner of Lloris’ goal. 1-0 to Wolves.

Tottenham try to catch up. There was a chance through Son Heung-min in the 16th minute, but his shot was saved by Wolves goalkeeper, Jose Sa. Two minutes later, Lloris’ goal shook again.

Through a mistake at the back, Wolves launched a counter-attack. Daniel Podence got the ball in the penalty box, but his shot was blocked by Davinson Sanchez.

Unfortunately for Tottenham, the ball that hit Sanchez moved towards Rodrigo Bentancur, hit the legs of the Uruguayan midfielder, then moved back towards Lloris’ goal.

The ball just hit the post, then moved towards Dendoncker. The Belgian player calmly struck the ball into the Tottenham goal. Lloris was in the wrong position and couldn’t stop him. Goal!

Winning 2-0 did not make Wolves relax attacks. Jimenez almost scored his second goal in this match in the 22nd minute, had Lloris not parried his long-range shot. The 36th minute, Podence’s turn was pushed over by the French goalkeeper.

Tottenham trying to get out of the pressure. Son had another chance in the 37th minute, but his left-footed shot was again overcome by Jose Sa. The score of 2-0 lasted until the break.
