The Italian coaching guru Piatti, on the other hand, accepted Sinner, who is currently taking a break due to a corona infection, into his academy at the age of 13 and formed him into one of the best tennis professionals in the world. The 63-year-old once even described the youngster as “the most talented player I’ve ever had” – mind you, Piatti had already looked after the 20-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic (34) at the beginning of his career.
