The president of the Chubut Basketball Federation, Carlos Sanz, provided details about the Chubut 3X3 Basketball Tour that took place in the seaside resort of the provincial capital.
In conjunction with Chubut Deportes, the Chubutense Basketball Federation and the Municipality of Rawson, a new day of the 3X3 basketball event was held at Playa Unión.
Sanz explained that “we had 4 official and registered categories in which everyone played against everyone” and added “which teams will reach the semifinal and the final in each of the categories will be evaluated.”
The event featured a total of 20 teams equivalent to 80 male and female players from different parts of the area.
The president of the Basketball Federation stressed that “prior to the final we held a category called Recreational that is out of the system and competition, in which anyone from the public from the age of 14 can participate” and added “this category It had a very positive response from the people.”
On the other hand, the General Director of Recreation and Sports, Gastón Williams commented “from the Municipality of Rawson we will always accompany this type of event that all the residents of our city and the region can enjoy and be part of”.
