The departure of Castaño from Mosconia, by decision of the club and by mutual agreement

The Mosconia de Grado, a club that plays in the Third Asturian RFEF, asserted yesterday that the departure of the until now coach, Javier Castaño from Gijón, was made by mutual agreement with the coach and is due to “differences in sports and in the social field” that made the board make the decision to dispense with their services.

“We believe that it was the best solution for the parties involved. These differences began to be insurmountable and from the board it was considered that now was the opportunity to make a change that could take effect and enhance the possibilities of the current squad with another sporting spirit, ”said the entity in a statement. In it, it is confirmed, as LA NUEVA ESPAÑA announced, that the new coach will be the fly Francisco Javier González García, “Pole”.

Castaño and Mosconia reached an economic agreement that, according to the club, avoids a “more traumatic” exit since if there were differences in the negotiation they would have to be resolved through the courts. For this reason, the club thank him for having reached an agreement.

For his part, the former Mosconia coach, stated in LA NUEVA ESPAÑA that he submitted his resignation due to the lack of signings that led him to “be very burned out”. The club has six wins, one draw and sixteen losses so far this season, which places it in penultimate position. “I pressured the club to sign and it couldn’t be, that’s why I had no choice but to resign,” he said. Although, as the club explains, the departure was made by decision of the board of directors and after negotiating the economic fringes with Castaño.

An exit that leaves the door open for Pole’s arrival at Mosconia, where he is described as a “reference” coach in Grado and stands out “for seriousness, discipline and with a long history of sporting successes”. Along these lines, Mosconia details that with the departure of Castaño the entity seeks “a radical sporting turn in all areas, starting with the first team and preparing the management to further professionalize grassroots football and try to make it a new reference In asturias”.

For this reason, they announce that, together with the hiring of Pole, a technical secretary will soon be incorporated into the club, who will be “the first stone of our new sports bet and from the board we are going to make sure to shore up the pillars of this new project and that this club remains a reference”. In addition, the club wishes the new coach the best of luck and hopes that the fans will soon notice the changes, which at Mosconia are sure “will take place from the next” game. The fly team visits this weekend to San Martín in El Florán.
