According to France Blue Herault, Vitorino Hilton will not play with FC Sète in National. The 44-year-old Brazilian veteran and Sète sporting director Sandryk Biton confirmed on Friday evening that the French Football Federation refuses the central defender to play. The club and the player had however found a agreement at the end of January for a collaboration of a year and a half. The Sète leaders had signed a license for the player who had been free since leaving Montpellier in July 2021, with the idea of being able to convert it into a federal contract.
But the FFF refused the request of the current 13th of N1. The player cannot even evolve with the reserve of the club which plays in R1 because his status as a professional footballer last year does not allow it. Unless the situation turns around, the former captain of Montpellier will therefore have to wait until July 1 to be able to play with his new club.
