the NBA 2K studio is working on an open world driving game based on a famous IP

Visual Concepts, the 2K Games subsidiary responsible for the development of some of the publisher’s major sports series, including WWE 2K ed NBA 2K, is working on an unannounced racing video game linked to a major IP. The game is described as an open world Triple A coming out on multiple platforms, and the work at the moment appears to be in the early stages.

The game could become a rival of Forza Horizon 5currently the undisputed king of open world racing games, and given the recent statements by the CEO of Take-Two it could be part of the series Midnight Club by Rockstar Games, which has been standing still for more than ten years. Visual Concepts is currently looking for Producer, Senior Technical Artist, Senior Build and Automation Engineer and Senior Software Engineer for singleplayer and multiplayer, so we can assume that there is also a multiplayer mode. As these are very important roles in development, and considering that the announcements were published in bulk only a few days ago, it is quite possible that the game is in the early stages of production.
