The “Open Tennis” Academy will now be in El Fortín

In the tennis sector of Club El Fortín there was a press conference where the “Open Tennis” Academy was presented, an activity that seeks to train tennis players capable of competing in high performance.

After giving the welcome message, Carlos Veneziano clarified that the teachers “They are going to accompany us in a project that we hope they can achieve” and clarified that the arrival of the Academy to the “Fortineros” courts was due to the work of the Tennis Subcommittee headed by Cristian Russo who said: “We are going to work together to make it truly an academy, intended for many boys”.

The Academy will be directed by Martín Ruíz Díaz and Bernardo Barzola and will have at this stage in El Fortín the support of Mariela Visotto who will be in charge of the smaller categories and with an interdisciplinary team for athletes but also for families that includes a coach physicist, nutritionist, pediatrician and kinesiologist.

“The dream we have is that one of our boys arrives”

We arrived at a predisposed club that accepted a project that we have been thinking about for years, that we started in Racing and continue today in El Fortín that trusted that we want to succeed”, assured Ruíz Díaz, but at the same time assured that “no one is going to be left without playing tennis, whether or not they can pay their fee or do not play tennis so well, the Academy is open to all children from 4 to 14 years old”.

In addition, among the teachers they clarified that the work carried out at the Academy is much more than “the two hours a week that they are used to, here we work 4 or 5 hours a day and the idea is to accompany him all the way, so that he does not have a roof over his head and has to leave Olavarría to get there”.
