As the fans returned to the stadium for the first time in Paris since the end of the sanitary gauges, the match started without the ultras, gathered behind the various entrances to their Auteuil stand.
The members of the Collectif ultras Paris (CUP), which brings together various ultra groups from PSG, took their seats in the 25th minute, silently, and began to unfurl several banners.
“A half-time to prove our dissatisfaction, how much does it take to prove your commitment”, could we read on one of them. The ultras also sent a direct message to several club leaders, such as sporting director Leonardo, wondering if it was not “time to clear” for the Brazilian leader.
They also pinned “a neglected formation, a discipline to be desired, overpaid mercenaries”, or even “disrespectful leaders”. “We sing with passion for players without motivation. Stop taking us for idiots, ”they still claimed in writing, also asking for more support for the women’s section.
Sunday during the victory in Lille (5-1), the Parisian ultras had already delayed their appearance in the stands, preferring to deploy a large banner in the parking lot of the Stade Pierre-Mauroy to indicate: “Our patience has limits”.
This banner was again displayed in the empty stand Friday evening at the Park just before the meeting, which started with only three stands filled out of four.
Monday, the CUP had explained on social networks that it was demonstrating against “incomprehensible sports management at all levels”, deriding in particular the regular changes of coaches or the absence of “game project”.
These protests come four days before the most important summit of the Parisian season, against Real Madrid in the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League.
