Tijuana, Baja California.- This Saturday the state judo eliminatory took place at the Multipurpose Gymnasium of the Tijuana High Performance Center, as part of the process towards the CONADE 2022 Nationals.
An important participation by the young athletes who competed worthily for the regional stage.
Among the winners is César Villavicencio from Ensenada beating Ethan Rivera from Mexicali 5-0 in the 15-17 year old category in the 81 kilo division.
From the women’s branch of the 63 kilos category, the host Valeria Nieto won the cachanilla Valentina Cohi, in addition to Vania Madera from the port of Ensenada, who defeated Lucina Aguirre from the state capital 5-0, in the category from 13 to 14 years old, in the 44 kilos.
In the 15-17 year old category, the state champion was Naomi Ortiz from Tijuana beating Ana Carolina Rodríguez who came in second and Ana Paola Moctezuma from Mexicali in third, in the 57 kilos category.
At the end of the competition, the coaches, together with the State Judo Association chaired by Josan Fajer, took advantage of the talent gathered to maintain training among the competitors.
