Anzoatiguense Michael Carrera continues his outstanding performance in the 2021/2022 season of the LEB Oro, the second category of Spanish basketball, by standing out, this Sunday, in the victory of Forca Lleida over Oviedo with a score of 67-56.
Carrera completed a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds, figures that he accompanied with three assists and a block, to add a PIR of 16, establishing himself as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match.
Average
The 29-year-old from Barcelona averages 17.5 points, remaining one of the top five scorers in the competition. The same is true in the rebounding department, capturing 7.2 per game.
Forca Lleida has a 13-5 record and is four games behind the leader, Estudiantes de Madrid. However, Lleida has three fewer duels, which is why, in case of winning those matches, it would be in second place in the tournament that gives promotion to the ACB League.
