During these winter school holidays which have just ended, the Departmental Basketball Committee offered discovery, initiation and advanced courses for the young shooters of Charentais clubs. Last Thursday, Jarnac-Sports Basket-ball welcomed Patrick Berthouy, departmental technical officer, to the Cosec room, to supervise 25 young people from the local club (categories U 7, U 9, U 11), to which some young people from neighboring club of Moulidars. Patrick Berthouy was assisted by a few educators from Jarnac-Sports Basket-ball: Jean-Claude Villedary, Patrick Lalida and Jean-Noël Rossi. Under the encouragement of families present in the stands, young people discovered preparatory games for basketball, and exercises to improve technical gestures, in a very friendly atmosphere.
