It is THE year for Julia Krajewski: She is the first woman to win the gold medal in eventing at the Olympic Games. With the team she takes 4th place in Tokyo. In addition, Julia Krajewski secured the German championship title in 2021. And now also the Lower Saxony award as sportswoman of the year. In a video message, she and her Olympic horse say thank you: “Mandy and I would like to thank you very much for actually choosing us, me, both of us, as athletes of the year from Lower Saxony. This is a really great confirmation for us after a such an emotional year in which we won the gold medal together in Tokyo. That we were able to convince both the spectators and a specialist jury. And we are very happy about that.”
