On Sunday, three Latvian teams suffered losses in the “Credit24” championship.

Daugavpils at home gave way to Austra Stalin’s Klaipeda unit “Amber Volley” – 1-3 (18:25, 25:22, 16:25, 14:25).

Andris Širjakovs scored 16 points, Rihards Puķītis and Nazars Getmans scored 12 points each.

Daumants Katins was the top scorer with 18 points.

RTU / “Border Guard” / “Jūrmala” won the point in Tallinn against the vice leader, who gave way to “TalTech” with 2-3 (20:25, 25:23, 24:26, 25:17, 10:15).

In the ranks of Jūrmalnieki, as usual, the result was Matīss Gabdulļins, who scored 32 points. Maxim Morozov scored 13 points, three with a serve, and Patrick Pinka with 12 points.

Kevin Saar was the top scorer in the Tallinn team with 20 points.

Finally, “Biolars” / “Jelgava” / MSG in Pärnu with 0-3 (13:25, 14:25, 10:25) gave way to “Parnu” led by Avo Kel and represented by Tom Schwann.

For Jelgava, Dāvis Storķis was the most productive with nine points.

In the ranks of the opponents, Schwan scored 13 points, three of which earned a serve and attacked with 100% effectiveness, turning all seven attacks into a point.

Boris Zhukov, who has five “aisles” in his account, also scored 13 points.

Tartu “BigBank” is in the leaderboard with 43 points in 15 games. “Amber Volley” climbed to the third place with 25 points in 14 matches, “Parnu” with fifth point with 20 points in 13 matches – “Lūši” with six points with 14 points in 14 matches – RTU / “Border Guard” / “Jūrmala”, DU / “Ezerzeme” have accumulated 11 points in 14 battles, but “Biolars” / “Jelgava” / MSĢ has scored four points in 15 duels.

Nine teams from Estonia (Bigbank, Tartu, Selver and TalTech in Tallinn) and Latvia (“Daugavpils University” / “Ezerzeme”, “RTU Border Guard” / “Jūrmala”, Jēkabpils “Lūši” and “Biolars” / “Jelgava MSĢ”) and one Lithuanian unit – Klaipeda “Amber Volley”.

Last year’s tournament was celebrated by Tallinn’s “Selver”, which beat Saaremaa in the final, and Jēkabpils “Lūši” won the third place.
