today: Millionaires travels to Brazil in two delegations | Fluminense Party is definitive for Gamero | Libertadores Cup

Millonarios will face Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro next Tuesday, in the second leg of phase 2 of the Copa Libertadores 2022. The first leg was lost 1-2 in El Campín and that is why all the cards will be played in Brazil, if you want to advance in the international tournament.

Alberto Gamero is confident that his team can still surprise and reverse the series, to stay alive in the Libertadores. However, the soccer calendar of Millonarios puts first the challenge of facing Cortuluá this Saturday (8:15 pm) for the ninth round of the Colombian league.

Thus, the coach decided that his squad will have two trips to Brazil. The main players will move just on Saturday; while on Sunday the rest of the delegation will travel. This was confirmed by Gamero this Friday.

“It is a long journey and we want to go compete. That is why a group of eight players will travel on Saturday: Andrés Felipe Román, Andrés Llinás, Omar Bertel, Stiven Vega, Larry Vásquez, Macalister Silva, Daniel Ruiz and Daniel Herazo; accompanied by goalkeeper Juan Moreno to carry out a work designed in definition”.

For his part, against Cortuluá he will have a very young team, who already beat Jaguares de Córdoba a date ago. However, goalkeeper Álvaro Montero and Costa Rican defender Juan Pablo Vargas, who will travel on Sunday, will remain to play.

The only confirmed casualty is that of Venezuelan Eduardo Sosa, sent off in the game against Fluminense in Bogotá. The rest of the team is in good health and there are no injuries.
