Coach Ogata, thank you for joining us. Audvie Ball Park is truly a unique space. What inspired you to create a facility that goes beyond traditional training?
ogata: “Thank you for having me. My mission has always been to nurture young talent and help players reach their full potential. While technical skills are essential, I believe that holistic advancement involves guidance, mentorship, and support.
I saw a real need for a space where young athletes could not only hone their hitting and fielding but also gain valuable insights into the world of baseball, from navigating the competitive landscape to making informed decisions about their future.”

ogata: “It’s a delicate balance. At that age, children are facing immense pressure and facing some of the most significant decisions about their lives. I try to be a sounding board, offering honest assessments of their abilities while emphasizing the importance of passion, dedication, and realistic expectations. It’s about guiding them, empowering them to make informed choices that align with their goals and dreams.”
