Newly retired from professional football, former quarterback Tom Brady will produce a film, “80 for Brady”, in which he will play his own character.
The 44-year-old man who retired from the NFL a few weeks ago will be heavily involved in the preparation of this cinematographic work based on a real-life event. According to The Hollywood Reporter magazine, the seven-time Super Bowl winner will produce this one through his company 199 Productions, which was set up in March 2020.
The film will tell the story of four friends (played by Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Sally Field and Rita Moreno) traveling together to see Brady in action at the Super Bowl: the match played on February 5, 2017 was won by the New England Patriots score 34-28 in overtime. The winners erased a 25-point deficit in the second half against the Atlanta Falcons.
