Top 10 for Saddier, victory for Knappe at Dimension Data Pro-Am in South Africa

He recovered well. Adrien Saddier missed his third lap this Saturday at the Dimension Data Pro-Am on the Montagu track in South Africa. A score of 77 (+5) and the Frenchman let go of the leader’s chair and even left the top 10. This Sunday, the 29-year-old took his revenge on the Montagu course by falling below par (-4) and by grabbing a few places to end the week in 7th place. Some regrets as the final victory was playable, but the Haut-Savoyard will be able to catch up next week at the Bain’s Whiskey Cape Town Open.

Two other Blues came up on the last lap. With a last card of 70 (-2), David Ravetto was consistent throughout this Dimension Data Pro-Am. Still below par, the 24-year-old is rewarded with his 13th place finish. Robin Sciot-Siegrist took advantage of his card of 69 (-3) to recover 17 positions and settle in 35th final place. On the other hand, status quo for Gary Stal (60th) and slight drop in the ranking for Jérôme Lando Casanova (73rd).

For the win, the suspense was total until the last hole. Thanks to a final birdie – his fourth of the day – the German Alexander Knappe seized the Dimension Data Pro-Am, one shot ahead of local Dean Burmester, only on par at No. 18. New Zealander Daniel Hiller completes the podium.
