It also completed expansion of support for public daycare centers, support for establishing and maintaining libraries by region, attracting medical complex towns, expanding maternal and newborn health care support projects, and installing safety bells on alleyways.
He announced that he plans to complete the installation of a badminton field in Jung-gu, construction of a gymnasium, installation of drainage fields in Taehwa and Woojeong-dong, promotion of relaxation of height restrictions, and creation of a children’s leisure sports experience zone within this year.
Jung-gu explained that the project to create a public parking lot covered by the Janghyeon Reservoir was put on hold, but the action was taken to preserve the ecological environment as the area near the site was identified as a habitat for toads.
