After spending two years in Juventus’ academy system while his father joined the Serie A giants, Cristiano Jr moved to England in 2021.
Cristiano Jr has played for United’s youth team this season, with son Nemanja Matic among those training alongside him.
United parties believe in the potential of Cristiano Jr. so he was tied to an official deal.
Cristiano Jr’s stepmother, Georgina Rodriguez, posted on Instagram: “Chasing our dreams together. Mom loves you.”
The certainty of the transfer was revealed by Cristiano Jr’s colleague, Gabriel, who also joined United.
“Glad that my signing day is finally over – even done with teammate @cristiano JR,” Gabriel wrote on Instagram.

The jersey has special meaning for those at Old Trafford because it has previously been worn by legends such as George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona and David Beckham.
Cristiano Jr’s father starred alongside the jersey, scoring 132 goals in two career spells and previously helping the Red Devils to three Premier League titles and a Champions League crown.
Ronaldo is certainly proud of his son, but he insists no pressure will be placed on Cristiano Jr to follow in his footsteps in sporting circles.
Ronaldo says in the documentary series Netflix ‘I Am Georgina’ that “only time will tell” if her son pursues a similar career.
Ronaldo added: “I would never put pressure on him. He will do what he wants.”
“Also what I want most for Cristiano and everyone is that they are happy and they choose what they want. I will support in any way.”
Ronaldo, however, hinted in his own post on social media that Cristiano Jr is the future to date.
