Everton bought Dele Alli from Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the January winter transfer window. Alli chose a new jersey number, number 36.
Dele Alli tied to Everton for the next 2.5 seasons. The move is a free transfer even though Alli’s contract at Tottenham still has until 2024.
However, there is a bonus clause with a value of up to 40 million Pounds or the equivalent of Rp. 775 billion, if the conditions are met. The first 10 million will be paid after Alli has made 20 appearances for Everton, the rest depends on the player’s performance and the team’s results on the pitch
Reported from Mirror, Dele Alli showing off his Everton jersey. Look, Alli uses the number 36 back!
During his time at Spurs, Alli was iconic with the number 20. He also wore the same number in the England national team.
It is known, jersey number 36 is Dele Alli’s first jersey number at MK Dons in 2011 after breaking into the first team and following the FA Cup. Unfortunately, from two occasions, Alli just sat on the bench alias was not played.
Furthermore, Alli alternated his jersey number from 14, 21, 22, until finally consistently wearing the jersey number 20.
Now with the number 36 jersey, it is believed that Dele Alli will start a new chapter in his career. Starting from zero, to be as great as before with the polish of manager Frank Lampard.
