Winter Olympic Games 2022: women’s alpine skiing. Timetables and Italians in the race
Sofia Goggia

Nine blue skiers have been called up for the Olympics and, apart from the special slalom, all with important possibilities. The female program is reversed compared to the male one, in fact it starts with the technical disciplines and ends with the fast ones, good for Goggia that can recover after the fall in Cortina. Already on 7 February the giant slalom can bring the first medal to the female delegation with the very important chances of Federica Brignone and Martha Basin. After the slalom of 9 February, Gulli and Della Mea will not fight for the podium, Brignone and Bassino should also be there, we arrive at the super g on 11 February where Brignone takes with him the confidence of Garmisch’s victory and Curtoni that of Cortina, but also pay attention to the ability to pull the curves of Bassino and to the possibility of recovering Goggia. On the 15th it will be the turn of the descent where it is hoped to get the Bergamo rider back in defense of the title of four years ago, but also keep an eye on Nadia Delago who has already touched the podium twice in the World Cup. It then closes on January 17th with the alpine combined and on January 19th with the mixed team event.
