This winter, the excitement of the Olympics extends beyond the television screen and into the heart of La Ferme des enfants. Young visitors will immerse themselves in the world of winter sports and creativity through a dynamic program of activities designed too capture the spirit of the games.Dubbed “Almost Olympics,” this holiday program offers a unique blend of athleticism and artistry. Children will channel thier inner sculptors, crafting models of interesting arctic animals.Under the guidance of experienced animators, they’ll learn the basics of cross-country skiing, hockey, and figure skating, with friendly competitions judged by an impartial jury.

Adding to the Olympic theme, children will design their own special mascot and contribute to the creation of a magnificent “iceberg” installation in the farm’s garden.

Older children will embark on a creative journey, transforming cardboard, Hama beads, and wood into Olympic-inspired masterpieces. Imagine wooden skis, shimmering pearl rings, colorful flags, and miniature ski slopes taking shape under their skillful hands. Afternoons will be dedicated to friendly sporting events, including team cross-country skiing, biathlon with archery, and exhilarating sock-skating races.

It was also about the connection with nature, the artistry of the sport, and the camaraderie with my fellow skiers.This program beautifully captures all of that. learning about the different winter sports, crafting models of Arctic animals, and designing their own mascots – it all fosters a well-rounded understanding and appreciation for the Winter Olympics.
