Hidalgo tennis player Ximena Figueroa trusts that the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports (Conade) will give the go-ahead as soon as possible to enter the National Center for High Performance (CNAR) as a scholarship holder.
In this regard, Luis Figueroa, president of the Luis Figueroa Hidalgo Table Tennis Association, reported that “it is already accepted for the CNAR, we are waiting for some questions from the Mexican Table Tennis Federation, which is what has stopped its entry to the CNAR , we still don’t have a date, but at the moment they indicate that activities are already restarting, Ximena would already enter, it’s just waiting for Conade to give the go-ahead.
“Initially, it was sought that she be awarded a scholarship in the Mexican Olympic Committee, but it will take a little longer to fix her areas, and they will also open in the CNAR and for this reason it became the first option for her, as it happens, it is intended that at the time Ximena can be in the COM”.
The athlete has remained in recent years as a national team and has become the letter of introduction of table tennis in the entity, among her achievements stands out the gold medal in the twenty-ninth Central American Championship U-15 and U-18 of Belize in 2020 in teams and bronze in women.
