Last weekend the III Asturias Swimming Championship was held at the CDAvilés. It was the first major competition since June last year. Yago Rodríguez won two children’s silvers in the 200 backstroke and 200 butterfly; Christian Hidalgo two bronzes in 100 free and 50 breaststroke; and the junior male and junior female relay, obtained four bronzes, both teams in 4×200 free and 4×100 styles; teams made up of Diego Suárez, Diego Lesmes, Christian Hidalgo and Yago Rodríguez, and the women’s team by Nuria Mayor, Nerea Martínez, Zoe Meneses and Olaya Serrano. “After many months of work and uncertainty we have been able to enjoy the best attitude of our swimmers”, they explained from the organization.
