Leicester City have ultimately missed a gratifying win in the Premier League. After a few difficult weeks, The Foxes looked set to win against number four West Ham, but a goal in stoppage time decided otherwise: it was 2-2. Youri Tielemans scored a penalty.

It wasn’t the best weeks if you’re a fan of Leicester City. Last year’s FA Cup winner was knocked out 4-1 in that tournament by Nottingham Forest – a second division, of course – last weekend and the league also did not go 1 out of 9 from the last three games. Against the revelation West Ham United – the number four in the Premier League – had to be changed.
With that in mind, Leicester did not get off to a good start, as after just 10 minutes it was already 0-1. After a lovely long ball from Diop, Jarrod Bowen finished it off perfectly.
A setback for Leicester, but The Foxes bounced right on the stroke of half-time. After a handball by Aaron Cresswell, the home team was awarded a penalty. Youri Tielemans took his responsibility and did not disappoint: he brushed the eleven meter in the corner. 1-1 at halftime.
Leicester took the win in the second half. Shortly after the break, Harvey Barnes whipped the ball in front of the goal, Ricardo Pereira pushed the ball against the net from close range. Leicester looked set to hold onto that lead until the end, but in the 91st minute Craig Dawson decided otherwise: West Ham made it 2-2.
Thanks to the point, Leicester is in a joint eleventh place next to Aston Villa, but is still waiting for a first win since January 8. West Ham are fourth with 41 points: one more than Manchester United, which has played one game less.
