The final under 18 JUDO FIJLKAM Cadets took place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th March at the PALA fijlkam in Rome. Only two Piacentini athletes of the JUDO Shiai company qualified. In this very important event that sees the best Judoka of Italy clash, the Piacenza champion Thomas Sassi just 14 years old reached the podium winning the Bronze medal, winning the Black Belt for Agonistic Merits. His race characterized by the fact that he faced his opponents with about 3 kg of weight less, he faced the matches with pure technique, bringing a very important medal to Piacenza. The other athlete from Piacenza Francesca Trongone passed the first two rounds but was stopped in the third after a long match in which the athletes faced each other bitterly. Great satisfaction for the club that first saw its athletes qualify for the National Final and then reach the podium.
