jpnn.comANSAN – This season Asnawi Mangkualam has often graced the Ansan Greeners bench.
It was recorded that of the three matches played by the K2 League club, Asnawi only played twice, and that wasn’t even a starter.
Asnawi Mangkualam’s performance was very different from the previous season, where he often won the trust to appear from the early minutes.
Last season, Asnawi played 14 matches with Ansan Greeners with a record time of 1,004 minutes. He’s only been off the bench twice.
No doubt, many people are wondering what made Asnawi become familiar with the bench.
At least, there are two reasons why the vice-captain of the Indonesian national team rarely appears as a starter.
First, there is a change of coach in the body of Ansan Greeners. In its inaugural season in Ansan, Asnawi was coached by Kim-Gil Sik.
Asnawi was placed by Kim in his original position, namely right-back. As a result, the man from Makassar was able to bring out all his best abilities.
