30 points but defeat for Evan Fournier
Evan Fournier was very skilful this Wednesday with a whopping 30 points scored on 10/16 shots, including 6/8 shots from 3-pointers, and 4 rebounds in 35 minutes. If he finished top scorer on the Knicks side, the New Yorkers lost 125-114 against the Hornets and saw their beautiful series of 4 victories come to an end. This 43rd defeat (in 77 matches) combined with Atlanta’s 39th victory (in 76 matches) marks the end (or almost) of their play-in hopes. All it would take is a victory for Atlanta or a loss on their part to be mathematically out of the race.
