The event, held in oviedo, was infused with an air of optimism and anticipation for the future of asturian football.Oviedo‘s vice-president, Manuel Paredes, expressed his confidence in the team’s ability to compete for promotion to the First Division, a sentiment echoed by representatives from the Second RFEF teams, despite the challenges faced by some in maintaining their league status. José Ramón Cuetos Lobo,president of the Asturian Federation,alongside Juan José Corujo,head of the coaching committee,and Marco santurio,president of the Asturian Committee of referees,also conveyed their enthusiasm for the upcoming season.

Moderator: What about the Second RFEF teams? Several clubs are facing financial challenges, and maintaining their league status will be a tough battle.

Nacho González: It’s a real concern. Asturian football needs a strong foundation, and that means supporting these clubs at the lower levels. We need to ensure they have the resources and stability they need to thrive, otherwise, it weakens the entire system.
