12 hopefuls from six African countries will join the inaugural BAL Elevate program. “We believe that the BAL Elevate program will be extremely useful for the 12 teams of the BAL and for the young men of the NBA Academy Africa who are ready to develop at the professional level alongside the best players on the continent. There is a natural synergy between the BAL and the NBA Academy Africa, and this program will provide another avenue for elite African prospects to reach their potential as players and people.”

Amadou Gallo Fall, President of BALSenegal

The establishment of the BAL elevate program aims to offer the next generation of African hopefuls the opportunity to participate in the new professional league, show their talent on the world stage and help their respective teams compete in the championship. of the BAL in 2022.

The objective of the Bal elevate is clearly to give competition to these young hopefuls, because those who are at the NBA Academy do not compete, they have extraordinary training, they play friendly matches around the world but they are not really in the mold of the competition. So combining their training directly with the ball is giving them the opportunity to rub shoulders with the best club competition on the African continent.

As a reminder, as amateur players, the said hopefuls of the BAL Elevate program, although distributed among the 12 BAL teams, will not share the monetary prize awarded to the best teams at the end of the season.
