Image damage as a reason
Novak Djokovic is going haywire after the Australian Open whirlwind.
As reported, the winner of 20 Grand Slam tournaments parted ways with coach Marian Vajda after 15 years. Djokovic, it is said, blames the Slovak for the loss of No. 1 (after 361 weeks). The Serb brought everything on himself with his refusal to vaccinate and false information when traveling to the Australian Open.
The next setback: The French automobile group Peugeot, which has paid Djokovic millions as its main sponsor since 2014, ended the partnership with the tennis star. Supposedly due to the damage to the image suffered in connection with the non-vaccination.
