A Chat About Ajax Tickets: Can’t Buy Me Love (But They Can Get Me to the Johan Cruijff Arena)
We’re sitting down with AFC Ajax legend, Hasselbaink, to dug deep into the recent announcements about ticket sales for upcoming home games. The excitement around the Feyenoord clash is palpable, especially with tickets starting at just €45, but there’s plenty of buzz around Sparta, PEC Zwolle, and sc Heerenveen too.
Moderator: Marco, thanks for joining us! Let’s start with the elephant in the room – those Feyenoord tickets flying off the shelves. The atmosphere at the Johan Cruijff Arena for that game is always electric. Do you think the accessible ticket price contributes to the hype?
Hasselbaink: Absolutely. Making that game accessible to more fans is brilliant. Imagine the roar of the crowd, fueled by that passionate Ajax support, at a price point that doesn’t break the bank. Its a win-win for everyone.
Moderator: The priority sales for season ticket holders and members are a smart move too, rewarding loyalty. Though, some fans have voiced concerns about the limited window for these sales. What are your thoughts on that?
Hasselbaink: You know, I understand the limitations. The club has to manage demand. But perhaps they could explore more flexible options, like staggered releases, to give everyone a fair shot at getting tickets.
Moderator: Good point. Now, looking at the wider picture, the “friends & Family” feature is a nice touch, allowing fans to share the experience together.
Hasselbaink: Absolutely! Football is about community, about sharing the highs and lows with loved ones. This feature encourages that, fosters a sense of belonging.
Moderator: So, with the matches against Sparta, PEC Zwolle, and sc Heerenveen also quickly approaching, do you think there will be similar demand for those games?
Hasselbaink: Ajax fans are fiercely loyal. They’ll be there for their team, no matter the opponent. The excitement surrounding Dutch football is undeniable, and these matches will undoubtedly attract strong crowds.
Moderator:
That’s wonderful to hear! what’s your message to ajax fans who might be struggling to secure tickets?
