RSU / MVS became the last quarterfinals of the Latvian volleyball championship on Wednesday, beating the MSG team on its field.

In the “Optibet” Latvian women’s championship on Wednesday, the quarter-finals ended with the RSU / MVS and MSG game. RSU / MVS won 3-0 at home (2518, 25:17, 25:18), was 2-1 in the series and reached the semifinals.
Anija Jurdža scored 12 points, Megija Dambrehte – 10, Agija Ankevica – 8 and Alise Juršāne-Piņķe and Anna Rīta – 7 points each.
Katrīna Struka scored 13 points for opponents, and Kristīne Leskimoviča – 9 points.
The SuFA / DU team was defeated 2-0 in the second quarter of the weekend in the LU series.
The two teams that took first place in the main event – “Jelgava” and RVS / LU – were released from the first round of the playoffs.
The winner of the main tournament “Jelgava” will meet with LU, but RVS / LU – with RSU / MVS team in the semi-finals on Saturday in Jelgava Sports Hall, Mātera Street 44.
After the first semi-final on Saturday, at 16.00, the women’s National League medalists will be awarded – “University of Latvia”, MSG and “Marupes SC”.
