The Latvian Volleyball Federation announced that all four Baltic League teams competing in the “Optibet” Latvian championship for men have successfully advanced to the semifinals.Thes powerhouse teams are SK “Jēkabpils Lūši”, VK “Biolars” / “Jelgava MSĢ”, “RTU Border Guard” / “Jūrmala”, and DU / “Ezerzeme”.

Pāvels Jemeļjanovs led the charge for Jēkabpils, racking up 13 points, including 5 aces, while Armands Āboliņš contributed 11 points, with 2 aces. In the first game, DU / “Ezerzeme” triumphed 3-1 (25:10, 21:25, 25:12, 25:17), with andris Širjakovs leading the scoring with an notable 26 points, including 1 ace and 2 blocks. Mikus Podkalns was the standout performer for VK “Ozolnieki”, scoring 11 points, including 1 ace and 1 block.
The second game saw VK “Ozolnieki” struggle to find their rythm, resulting in a 0-3 defeat (14:25, 18:25, 15:25) and confirming DU / “Ezerzeme”‘s place in the semifinals.
