Forbes reported that MLB’s deal with NCB Sports and Apple will be worth $115 million annually.
The agreement will be for 7 years between the Major Leagues and the apple company, paying 85 million dollars annually.
The company confirmed the agreement but not the data that the media are publishing, since 55 million dollars will be for the concept of rights and 30 in advertising paid to the league.
The iPhone SE 5G will be Apple’s new bestseller
The rights will be for the United States and 8 foreign countries through its platform, having a total of 50 games for each season.
The company will be able to abandon the agreement with the baseball league after the first or second year if it wishes.
The platform will have a live sporting event deal for the first time, in what could be the first of many in the near future with different leagues in the United States and around the world.
The Major Leagues are in a problem of agreements between players, league and owners, so if all goes well, the season will begin on March 18 with spring training.
